Thousands of elderly and sick people are dying. This is a very sad time for many people across the world. There is so much that we all can do to help save lives. Some of our intentional acts can protect the most vulnerable while the others can support those who are fighting this battle in the front lines.

Many charitable organizations usually count on volunteers to provide meals, do chores, get supplies, and provide fellowship to the underprivileged. That’s not happening right now. Due to the fear and restrictions, many volunteers are no longer able to help the poor, the sick, and the lonely. Not that they don’t want to, but most people are scrambling to get adjusted to the new norms. We could still use your help, now, more than ever before. We came up with two safe, quick and easy solutions.

Option A

Please search online for Churches, Homeless Shelters and Food Pantries to drop off items near you.

Option B

Please join our Angel Club and collect donations from your neighbors.  You don’t even have to drive anywhere.  We will pickup and deliver to those who are in need.  It is very simple.  All you need is a cardboard box.  Are you ready to take the cardboard box challenge?

• Print the following signs and stick them on a cardboard box

• Place the cardboard box in front of your main door

• Make a yard sign or a window sign inviting neighbors to drop off non-perishable items

• Call your neighbors and post on Facebook, Nextdoor, etc.

• Empty the box into your garage every night (to avoid squirrel riots)

• We (our Archangels) will collect every weekend in Dallas & Denver (send us a message if you want to start in other Cities)

• Many homeless and low income families will be grateful

5. Support our Projects

We are currently under funded and the needs are increasing due to Coronavirus. We need your financial support to be able to continue our operations effectively. All donations are tax-deductible and will go directly to our projects. We are a 501c3 charitable (non-profit) organization. Please understand the urgency and donate today.

India Needs Our Support Now

With God all things are possible. Pray for the protection of your family. Pray for the needs of your neighbors. Pray for help to the most vulnerable and the forgotten. Use this opportunity to help your family grow prayer, instead of indulging in binge watching TV and the social media. Be mindful of the suffering that many people are experiencing and offer up little sacrifices for them.

2. Care for your Family

As schools, offices and many businesses are closing, people across the country are confined to homes. Never in our lifetime anyone could have imagined this much family time, unless one is already homeschooling and working from home. Families can look at this as an opportunity to grow in love and make memories. Also, this is an excellent time to strengthen relations with extended families, especially the elderly and the sick. Technology can play a pivotal role in doing so. There are plenty of tools – Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc. for group video calls and of course Social Media in moderation can be good too. You can share pictures and stories very easily. Alternatively, intentional phone calls are very good too.

3. Love your Neighbor (literally)

Most of us don’t really know our neighbors. Now is a good time to get to know them but with care and diligence, especially if they are sick or elderly. Please follow CDC and WHO guidelines to keep everyone safe.

Sick and elderly next door cannot navigate through chaos easily. We can really help them. Also, there are many healthcare and emergency professionals that are working very hard. With children at home, certainly they are tired and overwhelmed. If they have one less thing to worry about, they can focus more on saving lives. Same applies to those who work in grocery stores, pick up trash, are part of the transportation industry, provide us safety, attend emergencies, care for the sick that are confined to homes, offer childcare, run retail, and do deliveries. Please give them a hand, so they can continue to keep everything functioning around us.

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
